So, let’s jump right in as well. Look, I have two more shares. So, let’s jump right in to how to find out what is your life’s purpose, okay? And I’d learned this a while back when I went through this presentation that I received called Determining the Soul’s Purpose, right? And so I just kinda changed it up a little bit, in your life purpose, but there’s some exercises that you go through and this is really, really good, you guys are gonna love this, okay? This is really good, so in order to find out what your life’s purpose is, you’ve got to ask yourself seven specific questions, okay? Seven specific questions, okay? And I want you to get ready to write these down and take some notes or if somebody wants to, you can chat it in the comments as I give it out to you, okay? But the very first question that you’ve got to ask yourself is “I am happiest when…” and then answer that question, right? I am happiest when I’m playing guitar, I’m climbing a mountain. I’m happiest when, you know, when I am on the phone selling, right? I’m happiest when I’m speaking in front of a crowd. I’m happiest when I am – whatever it is, right? You’ve got to ask yourself that question. What is the thing that makes you the most happy, right? What’s the thing that makes you the most happy, so jot that down very, very important, okay?
Here’s the next one: “Describe my ideal life,” okay? You can even get a calendar, write it out, get a blank calendar, there’s calendar templates on the internet, Google has everything, right? So, get a calendar template and just – what do you want to spend your time doing, right? You might wanna say, you know, I wanna get up every morning at 6 and work out from 6 to 7:30 and then be at the office or be at work by 9, you know, or maybe you wanna play golf two days a week or four days a week or whatever it is, maybe you wanna golf every afternoon from 2 to 5 or 2 to 6, whatever it is, right? Those are things that you need to write down and you can put it on a calendar and plot it out. In other words, describe your ideal life, okay? Very important, you gotta do that.
Okay, the next thing is, “What are activities that excite you?” What are activities that excite you? Like, is it riding a motorcycle, right? Is it playing music? Is it going to concerts? Is it – I mean, these some things that excite me, right? Is it spending time with your family? Is it helping out your family? Is it travelling, going on cruises, you know, helping others, volunteering, doing mission work, right? There’s a lot of different things so you gotta write that now. Activities that excite me. What are some activities that get you pumped up and excited, right?
Here’s the next question: “I am most passionate about…” What are you most passionate about, right? That’s the next question you gotta ask yourself. What am I most passionate about, right? I mean, what is something that when you think about it, you really start tearing up. You get emotional, your eyes start welling up, it means that much to you, what is that? What is that, right? I am most passionate about helping kids that, you know, there’s a lot going on right now with kids, with sex trafficking and abuse and things like that. In our office, we made it a point to pray for them and to try to help out with that in any way we can and that’s just something that we’re involved in our office right now but you gotta think about, what is something you’re passionate about? Is it providing housing for low-income people? Is it providing housing for veterans, providing housing for single moms? It could be any of that, right? It could be any of that. So, what are you most passionate about?
Here’s the next one: “I feel I am living my purpose when…” I feel I am living my purpose when, alright? When I am doing this or when I get to do this. So, these are all questions you’ve got to write out, get to yourself, get by yourself and you may need to think, you may need to take an hour or two or something like that but you need to take the time and write this down. Not with anybody around, not with anybody else in mind. What do you want to do, right? What do you wanna do, right? I feel I’m living my purpose when and then answer that question.
Here’s the next to last one: “What are talents that you get complimented on?” right? “Talents I get complimented on are…,” you know, playing the guitar or real estate, my real estate knowledge, sales skills, motivating people, communication skills, right? Things like that. What is it you get complimented on? Okay? What do you get complimented on? In other words, what do other people see that you’re good at, alright?
And the last thing is, “What do I excel in?” Not only what are you good at, but what are you already excelling in? What do you excel in? In other words, what have you already accomplished? Some degree of success in, okay? What have you already accomplished some degree of success in?
So, guys, that is the seven different things that you need to be able to figure out what is your life’s purpose. I’m gonna roll through ’em one more time for you, okay? Number one, “I am happiest when…” Number two, “Describe my ideal life.” Number three, “Activities that excite me,” right? Number four, “I am most passionate about…” right? Number five, “I feel I’m living my purpose when…” Number six, “Talents I get complimented on.” And number seven, “What do I excel in, what do I excel in?”
So, there you have it, that’s the seven different ones. It’s short and sweet, gets to the point. I hope you get a lot out of this. I hope you really take the time. Please do me a favor, write these down and then take some time to go out and discover what your true life purpose is and come back and leave us some comments and tell us what they are. We really would appreciate that. We really are trying to change some lives and to help people out and we wanna help you. Make sure to reach out to us if we can help you with anything. We really do appreciate your watching, make sure to follow us, make sure to share this video and look forward to seeing you next week, alright? So, thanks again, everybody. Thanks a lot.
